About The Wealth Gospel

Thanks for checking us out! We knew there was a little bit of stalker in you.

Let’s get to know each other, shall we?

Founder/Former Owner – Ben Luthi

Ben first developed a passion for personal finance when he came across Dave Ramsey’s Total Money Makeover in 2009.  Although he doesn’t agree with Dave about everything, Mr. Ramsey made an huge impact on his life.

Ben came up with the idea for The Wealth Gospel based on Andrew Carnegie’s essay The Gospel of Wealth. His hope was for this blog to inspire people to not only build their own wealth, but to build wealth enough to share.

After being offered the chance to pursue his dream of becoming a full-time writer, Ben decided that he needed to focus his limited time on his new gig. He parted ways with The Wealth Gospel in April 2015.

I am 29, married, father of a beautiful girl and co-own a Chicago based startup, which is into machine learning algorithms’ application in personal and business lending space.
